La quinta stagione è finita, e con essa inizia la lunga attesa per la stagione 6. Qualche settimana fa, sono usciti i primi casting - privi di nomi dei personaggi ovviamente, perchè ormai iniziano a farsi furbetti - ed ecco qua la lista completa. Ricordiamo che non vi è nessun nome specificato, ma le descrizioni lasciano intendere personaggi del calibro di Euron Greyjoy, Randyll Tarly e Septon Meribald.
Secondo le persone informate, i produttori sono alla ricerca specificamente di personaggi residenti di Irlanda o l'Irlanda del Nord per riempire questi ruoli, il che potrebbe implicare che il Nord sarà di particolare interesse per la stagione 6. Come sempre quando si tratta di questo genere di storie, è bene prendere tutto con le dovute precauzioni.
Qhogo and Akrat: se possibile, l'unica eccezione tra gli irlandesi richiesti quest'anno. Si tratta di giovani guerrieri, di etnia mista, alti e fiduciosi. Lachlan, si tratta di un personaggio che si vedrà in due episodi: sarà il capo di una banda di rinnegati che si troveranno a far razzie tra i poveri e gli indigenti in un territorio che avrebbero invece dovuto proteggere. In questo caso, le ipotesi sono diverse. Potrebbe essere un abitante del nord che disobbedisce agli ordini di Bolton, un criminale che si trova nelle terre dei fiumi oppure qualcuno intorno alla città di Meeren.CITAZIONELachlan: Lachlan is the leader of a renegade band who are extorting poor, vulnerable citizens even though they’ve been charged with protecting the land where those citizens live. There’re a lot of possibilities for this character. I can’t think of any direct analogue from the books, but that’s probably going to be the case a lot going forward, since the show has pretty much caught up with the novels at this point. Lachlan could be a Northerner disobeying the orders of House Bolton, a criminal who’s stampeding through the Riverlands, or even someone tormenting the citizens around Meereen. A puzzle, this man. Japeth: Ecco un altro membro di una banda di fuorilegge. Lachlan ispira lealtà, a quanto pare. Lui è un "rudimentale, grezzo" ( non so tradurlo, scusate! ), con una forte presenza fisica.
Bower: Chi interpreterà Bower dovrà avere un accento del Nord o Midland inglese. Il suo programma di ripresa si sovrappone a quelli del fuorilegge membri della band di cui sopra, quindi è probabilmente un altro fuorilegge. A differenza del "rough-and-ready" Japeth, Bower è "una sorta di schiavo, insensibile a l'orrore che produce." He’s a “rough-and-ready type” with a strong physical presence.
Bower: Whoever plays Bower is required to have a Northern or Midland English accent. His filming schedule overlaps with those of the outlaw band members described above, so he’s probably another member. Unlike the “rough-and-ready” Japeth, Bower is “a powerless servant, numb to the horror he serves.”
The more I read about Lachlan’s band (which I think we should all start calling “The Lachlan Group”), the more I think that they’re a bunch of brigands running around the Riverlands. Perhaps Season 6 will see Jaime head to the Riverlands to put down any remaining pockets of rebellion, as he did in A Feast for Crows. ( winteriscoming )

Com'era prevedibile, HBO vuole qualcuno che è bravo a combattimenti con la spada per il ruolo. Questo cavaliere di razza e l'origine etnica indeterminata trascorrerà una settimana a girare scene di lotta.
Lord di una nobile casata: Questo signore è un guerriero selvaggio che governa una casa in molto lontano Nord. HBO sta cercando qualcuno con un accento inglese del Nord e un fisico possente che può torreggiare su altri membri del cast. Egli deve essere di almeno 180 cm di altezza. Ha anche descritto come avente una barba e un carattere violento.
Per me, questo suona come Lord Jon Umber, alias il Greatjon. È vero, il personaggio è già apparso nello show, ma non è stato visto in un istante, quindi forse lo stanno riproponendo. Gli Umber controllano una casa nel "molto lontano Nord," e noi sappiamo che stanno attualmente dando rifugio a Rickon, che Sansa ha scoperto essere ancora vivo nella puntata "Hardhome." Potrebbe Sansa in qualche modo scoprire la posizione di Rickon, così da iniziare la Resistenza?
Vals ricorda: Great Jon ( o Grande Jon ) nei libri è tenuto prigioniero in seguito alle Nozze Rosse.CITAZIONELegendary Fighter: Moving away from outlaws, probably, this mysterious figure is in his thirties or forties and is described as “a paragon of knighthood.” Also, he carries a famous sword. Predictably, HBO wants someone who’s good at sword fighting for the role. This knight of indeterminate race and ethnicity will spend a week filming fight scenes.
Lord of Noble Northern House: This lord is a savage warrior who rules a house in the very far North. HBO is looking for someone with a Northern English accent and a powerful physique who can tower over other cast members. He must be at least 180 cm tall, which is around 5 feet 11 inches, which isn’t ridiculously tall, but maybe all the other cast members are short. He’s also described as having a beard and a violent temper.
To me, this sounds like Lord Jon Umber, aka the Greatjon. True, that character has already appeared on the show, but he hasn’t been seen in a while, so maybe they’re recasting him. It all seems to fit. The Umbers control a house in the “very far North,” and we know they’re currently harboring Rickon, who Sansa found out was still alive back in “Hardhome.” Might Sansa somehow find out Rickon’s location and head north to start the resistance? Egli ha certamente avuto diversi momenti di spietatezza e astuzia in "A Dance of Dragons." Non c'è niente riguardo alla sua stazza, ma come avvenne per Yezzan zo Qaggar nella quarta stagione, non è di vitale importanza.
Cacciatore: Successivamente, abbiamo Cacciatore. Questa è probabilmente la sua professione, non il suo nome. Parteciperà ad una sola scena, con il cast principale. Probabilmente, morirà subito dopo.
Green Recruit: ( non saprei come tradurre il nome! ) Questo giovane anonimo avrà una piccolissima parte. Forse ucciderà il Cacciatore o insieme uccideranno qualcuno.
Maestro remissivo: Questo timido giovane Maestro è poco più che ventenne. Nutre difficoltà a stare in piedi dinanzi ad altri personaggi ed apparirà in una sola puntata. Questo suona come Maester Kerwin ( click ) per me, lo sventurato giovane obbligato a seguire Victarion Greyjoy in A Dance with Dragons. Euron ( è probabile uniranno Euron e Victarion in un solo personaggio ) cercherà di uccidere Kerwin all'inizio della stagione, per dimostrare quanto è stronzo. Running with the whole “Northern resistance” theme, might this be Lord Wyman Manderly? He certainly had several moments of ruthlessness and cunning in “A Dance of Dragons.” There’s nothing here about him being grotesquely overweight, but the show doesn’t seem to have heeded George R.R. Martin when it comes to obese characters. Just look at who they cast as Yezzan zo Qaggaz this past season.
Hunter: Next, we have Hunter. That’s probably his profession, not his name. He’ll appear in an action scene with the main cast. Also, and I’m just guessing here, he’s probably going to die.
Green Recruit: This nondescript young man will have one line. Maybe he and Hunter will kill each other in that action scene.
Submissive Maester: This timid young Maester is in his twenties. He has trouble standing up to others and appears in one episode. This sounds like Maester Kerwin to me, the unfortunate young man who ran afoul of Victarion Greyjoy in A Dance with Dragons. Look for Euron (who I’m guessing the show is going to combine with Victarion) to murder Kerwin early in the season to demonstrate what a badass he is. ( winteriscoming )
Serva (????): Per questo personaggio, HBO vuole qualcuno di età compresa tra 45-65, con accento dell'Inghilterra del nord. Gestisce una famiglia di grandi dimensioni, ed è materna, ma severa quando ha bisogno di essere. Ecco ancora un altro personaggio del Nord. E' probabile trascorreremo del tempo in qualche casa del Nord. Sto pensando che sarà Casa Umber.
Padre: questo patriarca è duro, vecchio, ha un accento inglese del Nord, ed avrà due parti.
Simpatizzanti 1, 2 e 3: Queste persone sono grezzi militari. Per che cosa simpatizzano? Così come è accaduto per le prime quattro puntate di questa stagione, anche il season finale pare essere stato preso di mira. Perché? Chi c'è dietro? Non è dato saperlo, ma fonti di cui citiamo sotto alcuni stralci, parlano di uno screening canadese della suddetta ultima puntata. Invitando l'HBO ed il cast del trono di spade ad una maggiore attenzione, ad una maggiore protezione del proprio operato, vi rimando all'articolo sopracitato.
INVITANDO L'UTENZA AD ATTENDERE LA REALE MESSA IN ONDA DELLA FINALE DI STAGIONE, INSERIAMO QUI LE IMMAGINI DELL'ULTIMA PUNTATA NELLA SPERANZA CHE UN COMPORTAMENTO SIMILE NON SI RIPROPONGA.CITAZIONEGame of Thrones Season 5: A Rash of Leaks may have just come to a spectacular ending. Overnight, four images claiming to be from the season finale “Mother’s Mercy”—and extraordinarily spoilery ones at that—appeared on 4chan, and have started to spread like wildfire. Are they real? Are they photoshop? Even as fans examine them trying to determine the veracity of these leaks, SpoilerTV announces that it looks like the entire episode itself has leaked. But wait. The description, from the 4channer who leaked these pictures, is “an episode ten screener.” But that isn’t a thing that exists. Screeners, for those that don’t know, are episodes given to reviewers prior to the show going on the air, and usually only cover the first few episodes of a season. It’s a tradition harking back to a time when TV writers didn’t do recaps, but instead had to be able to put up a review of an upcoming show ahead of time, in order for viewers to decide if it was worth adjusting their rabbit ears and sitting down to watch at the appointed time it would air. Game of Thrones only did screeners for the first four episodes this season. Moreover, if you head to Pirate Bay (or one of the other usual suspects), there’s nothing for “episode 10.” And if you start scrolling down the SpoilerTV article into the comments, the site admins admit the episode “isn’t actually available online.” It’s just that a detailed description and a few pictures have appeared, claiming they came from a “leaked screener.”
Now, to be clear, there is a chance episode ten could leak early, due to the fact that “Mother’s Mercy” will be shown in Canadian movie theaters. But without the episode actually being on line for us to see, this is all assumptions and speculation. So what are these pictures, and what are these spoilers? Are they legit? There is in fact, a very good chance they are. As obsessives will know, overseas HBO partner channel OSN has been releasing the “Inside the Episode” clips prior to the Sunday airing, billing them as “an advanced preview” of the episode. If that’s the source of these pictures and descriptions, as it has been in the past, then these are the real thing. Also, having seen the “Inside the Episode” would give someone enough information to sound as if they saw the entire episode, even if they haven’t.
The pictures are below. There are four of them. Two of them are potential spoilers for the episode. The other two are not just spoilers for the episode, but are potential spoilers for the books as well.
